I’ve always felt this connection to plants and what they can do beyond providing green and color to the world.

I crushed them up to make paints, spent hours creating natural skincare and body scrubs with my best friend, and experimented with ways to use them in teas and tinctures. I’m so happy to introduce House of Moon & Earth to you.

HoME is a veneration of the dibia ancestors (dibia means “healer, master of knowledge in Igbo) who came before me, my mother who taught me how to grow gardens the same way she did in her home country of Nigeria, and the Most High, who gave us all the medicine we need through the beauty of plants.

I source my herbs from community apothecaries and even pull some herbs from my own apartment garden. I pour through books and studies and consult with elder herbalists who’ve worked with these plants for decades to continuously learn, not just the science, but the spirit of the plant, as well. Every item you see is made with deep intention, a commitment to quality, and lots of joy (you can find me in the kitchen dancing as I’m whipping things up).
